Riversong Graduated Scale Bass
Graduated Long Scale Bass
From the mind
of Lee Manson, Production Manager at Riversong Guitars, when given a
choice of next project it was easy for Lee: as a bass player he wanted
to make the ultimate acoustic bass. Graduated Scale fan frets,
Chillakwian Maple back and sides, Sitka Spruce top, walnut fretboard and
bridge, dual carbon fibre rods make this an extremely well balanced,
big, warm-sounding bass. Finish is a multi-colour metallic over a
traditional burst by Masayuki Toyoshima, master finisher. The Graduated
Long Scale Bass is unparalleled.
Graduated Scale Bass Wins MIPA Award!
Mike Miltimore and the team at Riversong Guitars are pleased to announce that our Riversong Graduated Long Scale Bass has received the MIPA 2016 Award in the Acoustic Bass Guitar category!
MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award) – the prestigious
international prize that honours the year’s best in musical instruments
Journalists of over 100 dedicated
special interest music magazines from all over the world were called
upon to nominate and vote for the best musical instruments and audio equipment of 2015/2016 in the 38 categories of the prestigious mipa/pipa Musikmesse/Prolight + Sound International Press Award.
Riversong Guitars are built with our
NeckNology tech – a solid neck that runs the length of the instrument
and which can be manually adjusted to YOUR preference.
The Graduated Scale (GS) Series
tension and tone has always been an issue for conventional guitars. Bass
strings require higher tension while treble strings need less. Similar
to a grand piano where all strings are different lengths, our GS Series
delivers that fine balance between tone and tension. With fanned frets
the ergonomics of these amazing looking instruments leave one to
question: “Why aren’t all guitars made like this?”
