Riversong - Tradition 1 N
The TRADITION 1 (N)
Introduced in 2014, the Tradition 1 has had great reviews from industry magazines like Vintage Guitar (Aug. 2015)“Fat and Clean” and Acoustic Magazine (Feb. 2016) “Sound Quality – Superb, almost faultless”. The
unique combination of woods give the Trad 1 great dynamic range that
blooms well up and down the neck. Big open sounding chords and tight
arpeggios make fingerstyle or strummers feel at home. The integrated
tone ring around the entire top, opens up the tone and breaks up the
structure around the edges for a beautifully balanced and resonant tone.
This guitar is very light and responsive – great for the “lead”
acoustic player. The Tradition 1 features a body made of solid spruce
back and sides.
Tradition One series 4/4 dreadnought guitar
Top: Solid AAA Engleman spruce
Back and sides: Solid wild cherry
Neck: Solid one piece maple
Fingerboard: Rosewood, 24 frets with pearl-shaped inlays
What’s Different about the Riversong Guitars – Tradition Series:
Adjustable Body Angle
Our action is raised or lowered by a
simple adjustment of the body angle. Changing the body angle eliminated
the need to adjust your action by destructively sanding your saddle and
Tension Free Design
Our patent pending “Neck Thru” design
reduces the tension across the guitar top allowing Riversong guitars to
use less structural bracing and have more resonant area.
Adjustable Top Loading
Whether you use light or heavy gauge strings, Riversong has a system for adjusting the stiffness of your guitar top.
The neck can move in and out of the pocket
where it sits allowing for micro-adjustments while under tension. NO
MORE COMPROMISE ON INTONATION!
One-Piece 24 Fret Neck
Our neck runs continuously under the fretboard to the 24th fret for even tone and volume, while eliminating 14th fret hump.
Straight Pull Headstock Design
There is no sideways tension through the nut, resulting in better tuning stability and tone.
Less Kerf = More Tone
We use 1/3 the kerfing, and our top is directly connected to the side and back for better energy transfer.
